About Happy
Happy is eleven years young and just such a happy boy! Happy was impounded for fourteen days and sat in his run making no fuss at all as he really thought his mum and dad would come for him. Days rolled by and no-one with a familiar face came to take Happy home! Poor Happy was now very sad and we couldn't leave this gorgeous old fella to die in the Pound so PAWS agreed to take him. He had the usual vet work done which included the removal of his back dew claws and desexing but his teeth were great and did not require any dental surgery so we were pretty happy about that! Happy is in foster care with five other small dogs and again he makes no fuss at all. He learnt how to use the doggy door quick smart and goes in and out all day long, sometimes just for a wee or maybe to lay on the grass enjoying the sunshine. Happy gets along well with all of the other little dogs, eating and sleeping with them day and night. He is a true treasure and if his foster carer did not already have five old dogs she would make it six but she feels that Happy should have his own family to take him on walks and live his remaining life being loved and adored. Happy is a house dog and must always have indoor access via a doggy door or similar. He is a peaceful and very happy boy now who just wants a place to call his own. Happy wouldn't mind a doggy companion to share his days if his new family are working people. Happy's coat will grow and then require regular grooming to keep him looking gorgeous.
Happy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for the special adoption fee of $200. He has also had a recent dental (teeth cleaned under anaesthetic) and dew claw removal.
