About Hayley
Hayley is just lovely. She is a very social dog and loves everyone (dogs or people) and will happily play outside until the sun goes down, then come inside and curl up at your feet or on your lap for as long as you like – laps are not just for small dogs! She has an active mind that needs mysteries to solve and enjoys her box of squeaky toys. She is doing brilliantly at obedience training, has already mastered the doggy door and absolutely loves popping outside to make sure everything is fine in her garden. She likes to have a little dig too, but is a good girl and will stop if you say stop.
Hayley is making a splendid recovery from her hip operation, and is happy to go on short walks or have a swim. Her gentle nature means that she is a delight to take on play dates with other dogs. She will bond with a big alpha dog perfectly or happily lead a cute and crazy little terrier all the way around the park.
Hayley‘s ideal situation is with another active dog to share the back yard during the day and a few people to tickle her tummy in the evenings. She isn’t quite ready to run a marathon yet though, and will need some check-ups at the vet a few more swims to make sure everything is ok, but after all that one lucky family will have a lifetime of love from this kind and gracious lady.
Medical notes
Hayley has bounced back from one leg operation and we are waiting to see with the other.
Weight 25 kg (and is expected to grow a little bit more still)
