About Sakhura
Sakhura, or Suki (beloved) as we call her, is a beautiful little Jack Russell. \ She was thrown outside the car at a city pound and as a result likes to keep her family in eyesight. She tends to focus on one person, but would be better in a house where there is more than one person so she doesn't obsess too much. \ Once settled she can be left for some hours without becoming destructive. She lives with our chickens, cat, 4 young kids and two big dogs - and she is the boss!! She is more a people dog than a dog dog, but maybe that is due to the big dogs occasionally knocking her. She should not go to a house where there are birds such as pigeons as she catches and eats them, not good for the pigeon and not good for Suki's waistline.
Suki lives an indoor/outdoor existence with us. As with most middle- aged dogs she is not too fond of going out in the cold in the mornings, but she loves her walks. She sleeps on a cushion beside my bed and never jumps up when people are in residence. Apart from that she chases the sun, warmth and cuddles. She would be happy where people could spend time sitting and being with her.
Medical notes
Very happy girl, down to a good size now. She was very overweight when she came into care.
