Chayenne (C1882) *Adopted*

Looking for a loving, playful and amusing cat? Chayenne is great with children and confident with cat-friendly dogs. She’s still young and her foster family love her mischievousness. She loves to hide and then pounce out on her carers or Balti, another SAFE cat she’s in care with. Chayenne and Balti play and stir each other up but will be fine to be separated. Chayenne is extremely intelligent and good at letting her carer know what she wants. She’s also very emotionally in tune with how the people around her are feeling and will stay close and rub up against you if you are feeling blue. She loves to sit on the couch and get chin rubs. In her early days with us, she was a night owl, but now she sleeps curled up all night on her carer’s bed. Chayenne has almost mastered using a human toilet and is learning to walk on a lead. She enjoys climbing and perching up high, surveying the world below.

Chayenne’s carer says that she is one of the easiest cats that she has ever looked after, very cruisy and low maintenance. She's not a picky eater, and although she likes to look outside, seems happy to be an inside cat. Chayenne’s carer sometimes travels for work and Chayenne is quite content to be left alone with Balti for a day or two, as long as their food and water is stocked up.

Like all SAFE animals Chayenne has been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated.
