Frankie

Dear sweet Frankie is quite a character!!! Frankie has settled into his foster home very well and his favourite pastime is eating. Frankie's carer said he will do anything for food. Frankie is very well mannered and is responding to some commands providing there is a food treat in his reward. His house training is coming along nicely and he now has a favourite tree stump in his carer's back garden that he pees on every time he goes outside. Frankie is learning to use the doggy door and should have that mastered in no time flat. Frankie loves a cuddle, is very gentle and does not have a mean bone in his body. He sits up on the couch with his foster family watching TV and having his belly rubbed. In true Shih Tzu style he is a big snorer and snorter but doesn't bark or carry on about anything as he is just a cool little dude! Frankie loves the kids in the family and especially loves the attention they lavish on him whenever they are together. Frankie gets on well with Tinkerbelle the resident cat and is starting to play with the little Poodle X he is in foster care with. He is also learning what its like to go for a walk and to the park for a run and play with his doggy foster sister. Frankie's coat was very matted when he came into the Pound so it has been clipped off making him feel very comfortable now but his coat will grow back and then require regular grooming. Frankie is not that interested in lots of exercise so a home with a family who are not overly active will suit him the best.
