About Mozart and Merlot
** Merlot & Mozart are trialling their new home **
Beautiful black bundles of brotherly love. We're very friendly, calm, gentle and affectionate, with golden eyes and soft shiny black fur. We can really purr up a storm. Being just nine months old, we're super curious, adventurous, full of mischief and we love playing.
We're Olympic gold medallists at bathtub ping pong, the triple cat tunnel sprint and kitty wrestling. But we're much more emotionally mature than our age would indicate. We're wise souls.
We even know to keep our claws to ourselves when playing with people. We've touched the hearts of everyone who's met us. We love sleeping against a warm body and when we start up our purr machines, you'll feel very soothed and loved. Insomnia will be a thing of the past.
We travel really well in the car and also know how to walk on a harness and lead, so if you're planning a big road trip, we'd be happy to come with you. We're also good with other cats - if you already have other cats, we’re bound to fit in.
Still being young, adult cats let us get away with the usual kitten mischief. Being short haired, there won't be any hassles with mats, either. Ideally, we're looking for a home where we can spend our lives together - we're brothers, we have never been separated and we are best friends. So if you'd like a cat, but don't want them to be lonely, we're an ideal solution - we come as a readymade family, with none of the worries of hissing and spitting and fur flying that can happen when you introduce cats. We love each other already and have never said a cross word to each other (actually, we've hardly said any words other than gentle trills when we're super excited - we're very quiet; no noisy Siamese talkfests going on here). We play together, eat together and sleep together. Caring for two cats doesn't take much more than caring for one. If we couldn't stay together, we'd probably adapt, but it would be nice to not be separated.
We are two very special cats and are just busting to find our forever home so that we can grow to become two beautiful black panthers. Whoever gets to share their life with us will be very lucky.
Mozart and Merlot also have three female siblings waiting for a home. These cats all have the most beautiful natures. If you are interested in one or two of the girls, please make a note in your application.
Medical notes
We currently have gingivitis, but we're getting holistic treatment for this and our foster mum will explain all that to you.
Our sisters are healthy and happy.
