About Licorice (On Trial 10/3/13)
Licorice is a purebred female Pomeranian 16 month old dog. She is a delightful friendly enthusiastic little girl. She gets on with everyone and is confident and happy. She bounces up and down in excitement so may not be suitable for very small children and will need to be trained gently to keep this under control a little.
She is learning to be housetrained and sleeps inside and lives inside with access to the garden. She would be better in a home with people who are at home a lot as she is still quite young. Licorice is quite a livewire so a playmate of a similar energetic small dog would be needed to keep her occupied. She bonds easily with everyone and is always smiling and happy and full of enthusiasm.
She has a lovely thick coat which will need regular brushing and stripping out twice a year. Licorice is a delighful little girl and beautiful to boot.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Licorice 's $500 adoption fee covers her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving other abandoned dogs like Licorice.
Licorice is in foster care in Morpeth, NSW (30 minutes drive from newcastle). For more information or to meet licorice please phone Caroline 02-4988-6401 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
