About Milkshake (On Trial)
--- On trial in a new home 23/9/12 ---
Milkshake is a 4 month old small mixed breed puppy. She is friendly and playful, as well as being super cute! milkshake adores other dogs and is reliant on having another one (or two) at her adoptive home to make her feel secure. She also loves kids and cats so would be a great addition to your family. She is always on the go and after a hard days play loves nothing more than curling up for a snuggle and some beauty sleep. ** note: milkshake will only be allowed to go to home where there is another friendly dog to keep her company, as she doesn't like being alone. **milkshake is an indoor dog and due to her small size will need a very secure yard. She is just a young puppy so is still learning how to be a well rounded member of the family so would benefit from some more training. Her toilet training is progressing well. Like any puppy especially, one in a new environment, she needs to be monitored and taken out regularly, as she is not the best at indicating her need to go out. She could learn to use a doggy door. While in foster care milkshake has slept in a crate with other puppies, but she would love to share your bed with you. Her favourite position is belly up, with her head around backwards!the vet thinks she might be a mix of maltese, foxy, chihuahua, and dachshund etc. ! milkshake has a short coat with a longer length coming through as she gets older. She may need grooming once or twice a year. She loves to have a bath and does a cute little excited run around the house afterward, like a happy dance. Milkshake wears jackets when the weather is cold, she is a little princess who likes to be kept warm. Milkshake loves to go out for walks and explore new places. She is good in the car. Although not a constant barker, milkshake does let you know that someone is at the door. Milkshake loves to play fetch and tug. *** please see more photos of milkshake at http://tinyurl. Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
