About Dino
Dino is a gorgeous greyhound boy looking for a loving and caring home. He just turned 5 (DOB Oct 2007) and his life is just beginning now. Dino is exploring the world outside of kennels for the first time and has a lot of catching up to do! He is a friendly chap and turns head with his distinct markings. Dino happily stops and lets strangers pat him too. He is quite a cuddly and affectionate dog and loves human as well as canine company. He currently lives with another female greyhound in foster care but could also live as an only dog provided he has daily walks and play time. He would benefit from a family where he would not be left alone for too long.
Contrary to popular belief, greyhounds do not need a lot of exercise. While Dino is a very fast sprinter, he has no stamina and is happy with a 15 minute walk in the morning and evening. He likes to spend the rest of his day napping but also really likes it when he goes out and discovers new things. Dino would love a family which includes him in all activities.
Because Dino spent a lot of his life in racing kennels, he still has the whole world to discover. So many things are new for him but he loves learning and experiencing new things. Dino is a real gentleman too and walks well on his lead.
Dino is not cat friendly but small dogs are acceptable to him. He will need to continue to be socialised around other dog breeds though as he is only used to be around other greyhounds.
He will make his new family really happy and if you want to get to know this beautiful boy, please contact martina on 04202 71995 or email kaysgreys@gmail. com
Medical notes
None, he is a healthy boy
