About Andy
Andy is one of six Poodles that were surrendered together and as he has always been used to the company of other Poodles we will not rehome him as an only dog. Andy is a gorgeous boy with a soft and gentle personality who loves being with his doggy friends or cuddling up with his foster carer. Andy would love a home with a Poodle family who have another small dog for company. He is a house dog and will need access to the house via a doggy door or similar. Andy's coat was severely matted so had to be clipped off completely, his coat will grow back quickly and require regular grooming and clipping to keep him knot free and comfortable.
UPDATE 20 SEPTEMBER: Andy came to us in disgusting condition coat wise so had to be clipped off completely but his coat is gradually growing back and he is beginning to look more like the Poodle that he is. Andy is in foster care with other Poodles and enjoys playtime with them each and every day. He is a constant source of delight for his foster carers with his funny antics, especially after going to the dog park or a walk in the local area. After each outing Andy becomes very excited to arrive home and starts throwing toys etc all over the place ... he is a very funny Poodle! Andy is also a very active boy so will need a home where he is going to be walked and stimulated each day. He is highly intelligent and has learnt so much since arriving in foster care and mixing with a family who are very confident and experienced with the Poodle breed. Andy would not suit a family with very young children but older children who will throw the ball and play with him will be wonderful. Andy will also need a doggy friend to play with as he has always been with other dogs in the past. Andy is a house dog that is house trained. and has a high maintenance coat that will grow back and require regular grooming,
