About Buster
Meet Buster; he is our misunderstood teenager at the shelter. If you are outside his yard (and he doesn’t know you) you had better believe that he looks like a dog who means business and you would be a fool to poke your fingers through BUT open the gate and go in and he changes to ‘Squeee, I have visitors! Look, look, watch me I can sit, look, look, look over here, here’s where I sleep’. He also really loves female dogs and will play non-stop but everyone he has been paired with gets a bit fed up with his ‘try-hard’ enthusiasm and thinks he is a jerk. Poor Buster; he is just sending out so many mixed messages.
Once you get over that initial ‘Mr Tough Guy’ act he puts when you approach his yard you will discover a big boofy doofus with a limitless capacity for love and a great capacity to learn; he has done basic obedience and responds to commands once you establish a relationship with him. Lucky for him he is so eager to be mates that won’t take long.
He would be a great candidate for our K-PUP if we could find him a sponsor!
