Kellie *On Trial in Her New Home*

*kellie is currently trialling her new home* loveable kellie is a dainty little miss who is always up for a bit of fun! she was found wandering the streets of ouyen (population 1082), so when she remained unclaimed in our local pound sarg couldn’t say “no” to giving this sweet pup a chance at the good life she deserves; will it be with you?

poor kellie has spent nearly a month in foster care getting over a nasty upper-respiratory infection she picked up while in the cold pound. She is now healthy and happy and eager to take on what the world has to offer. This friendly, affectionate little pup is great with humans of all shapes and sizes including children. She isn’t yappy or in your face, she’s actually pretty much perfect in our eyes!

while in care kellie has learnt how to “sit” and this clever girl has almost mastered “stay”. Now that she’s well she’s also enjoying a daily walk and her carer says she walks well on a lead. Kellie does jump up a little when she’s all wiggly and excited though she’s fast learning the “down” command. She’s terrific inside having never had one ‘accident’ or chewed or dug or done anything naughty and she’s a great little couch companion while watching tv. As she’s still a young pup kellie will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she continues on with her lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make adorable kellie very happy indeed!

as she’s already housetrained kellie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time while settling into her forever home.
