Matilda (On Trial)

On trial in a new home 9/8/12. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly carey, mr darcy and carter. . . Matilda is a 1-2 years old fox terrier x whippet. She is very sensitive to people's moods and will behave accordingly. If you're happy, she's happy; if you're down, she'll sympathise. She is a wonderful dog for a family because she is very loving, easy going, and very low maintenance. She's not a barker. . . She's a darling little girl: young and full of fun. She loves you to throw her chew toys and will always return the toy, ready for another throw. She loves to have a toy to chew on. . . Matilda is fantastic with my other dogs. I don't have cats so don't know about that. She is good with children. She can get a bit excited to see them at first but that's only because she's so happy to see them. She has some basic obedience training and i'm working on more. She would do fine in a dog training class. . . Matilda is an indoor dog and is almost fully housetrained. Due to her short coat she really feels the cold. She needs a coat after dark in winter and definitely needs to sleep inside. Matilda copes ok when i leave the house but i have other dogs here for company. She needs to be in the house and included in family activities when people are home. She's always so happy to greet me when i come home, her happiness never fails to brighten my day. She's a delightful young dog and i'm sure she'll make some lucky person or family very happy. . *** please see more photos of matilda at http://tinyurl.
