About Carter (On Trial 23/12/12)
Carter is 1-2 year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is a long legged JRT and still a big puppy at heart. He can stand on his back legs and holds his paws up like he wants to dance with you. Carter is full of energy and he is quite happy to romp all day and is learning about housetraining. He is tan and white and has a short, low maintenance coat, just needing a bath now and then.
Carter will need a secure yard as he likes to get out and explore. He is still young and needs basic training as I am slowly building up his trust at the moment. Carter gets along great with other dogs. He knows how to use the doggy door and he sleeps in the laundry. He is not a fussy eater. He would suit older children as little ones seem to intimidate him. He likes to be inside with the family, especially when people are home.
Carter is looking forward to lots of walks, lots of love and lots of never ending cuddles in his forever home. He is looking for an active young family to join. He is eager join in, become part of your family and return your love in buckets full.
To meet Carter, or for more info, please ring Diane on 4958-5139 (after 6PM); Mob: 0403-398-685

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID to prove you live there.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
