Sassy *On Trial in Her New Home*

*sassy is currently trialling her new home* meet little miss sassy!! we were stunned when this gorgeous pup and her brother weren’t collected from our local pound by their owner after they were picked up wandering the streets of mildura. Her brother got a local adoption so sarg stepped in and saved sassy which means she’s looking for a wonderful forever home; will it be with you?

adorable sassy has settled in well into foster care where she gets to hang out with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as the household cats which don’t faze sassy at all. At first we thought she may have been a bit timid but she soon came out of her shell to boss the other dogs around! this little snuggle-bunny adores humans and loves being picked up and cuddled and would be quite content to spend hours on your lap getting all the attention she can. We wouldn’t recommend her for a home with small children/toddlers as they might be too rough for the little petal. Clever sassy is learning to “sit” for treats and she’s a good little eater who isn’t fussy about her food – we have her on advance puppy. The other dogs have been teaching her how to play with toys which she’s thoroughly enjoying and as you can see in her video she’s mastered “fetch”! \ she can be a bit licky and “in your face” – she wants to get close - though she’s not at all yappy, in fact you hardly ever hear her bark. pretty girl sassy is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. She doesn’t shed much hair though she wouldn’t say “no” to a brush once a week and her feathery-bits may need a trim every now and then. Sassy sleeps inside and you don’t hear a peep out of her all night. Her carer is working on her housetraining and also teaching sassy how to walk on a lead as she doesn’t appear to have had much practice at this. Secure fencing, chicken wings to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make cheeky little sassy very happy indeed! this gorgeous pup weighs less than 3kgs and we doubt she’ll be more than 4kgs once fully grown so she’s a great size for taking everywhere with you and she travels really well in a car!

sassy would be best suited to an inside / outside lifestyle with either a friendly doggie companion or on her own so long as she’s not left alone for long periods of time.
