Yazmin *On Trial in Her New Home*

*yazmin is currently trialling her new home* we can’t believe this loveable little dog was left behind at our local pound - lucky for yazmin she’s now enjoying life in foster care while we search for the perfect forever home for her; will it be with you???

fun-loving yazzy enjoys a romp with her carers own young dog, (or any other friendly dog for that matter!) or she’s quite happy with her own company and even though we don’t know if she’d ever met one before she’s not at all fazed by the households cats. Yazzy interacts well with humans of all shapes and sizes and she appears to have a soft spot for men as it was her carer’s hubby who she warmed up to first by snuggling up to him while watching tv at night. While in care clever little yazmin has learnt to “sit” and is already coming when called to the name we chose for her, and as she is extremely food orientated (piggy!) further training should be a breeze. We don’t think she’s ever been on a lead so her carer is working on this. Yazmin is friendly and affectionate without being “in your face” and she isn’t a yapper, just giving a short warning bark when she feels it’s necessary. Pretty girl yazmin is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. She doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush at least once a week and a professional clip when required to keep her coat in tip-top condition – she was a real mess when we found her in the pound, so we hate to see her like that again. Secure fencing, chicken wings to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make adorable yazzy very happy indeed!

as yazmin is already housetrained and sleeps inside at night she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a playful doggie companion or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially during her settling in period.
