About Harry *On Trial in His New Home*
*HARRY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* Recently surrendered to our local pound, through no fault of his own, this gorgeous little scruffer is Harry and he’s looking for a loving forever home; will it be with you?
Harry has settled in well into foster care where he’s having a ball with his carer’s own dogs and he’s good with the household cat too. Harry’s a friendly, affectionate dog who loves to play outside with his carers young children or curl up next to them on the couch when they’re watching tv. Harry’s housetrained and sleeps inside at night – he likes to sneak into the kids rooms to sleep if he can get away with it…. . Or given half the chance he’ll crawl into bed with his carer and her partner while they’re sleeping, naughty Harry! while in care Harry is learning to “sit” and he enjoys going for walks on a harness and exploring the world around him.
Here’s some video of Harry greeting his foster carer’s children after school: http://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=fhoxdh1bdsq
Harry’s wirey feeling coat doesn’t appear to lose much hair and is quite low-maintenance only needing a wash when required so he smells like dreams! As Harry is only young he could do with some ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. Secure fencing, bones to chew and toys to keep him stimulated so he doesn’t get bored and up to mischief will make Harry very happy indeed.
As Harry is housetrained he would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with a doggie friend for company or on his own though only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s still young.
If you think you can give Harry the loving home he’s been looking for then please download and complete a SARG dog application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adoptapet.html
