About Romy * Adopted *
At the tender old age of 9 & 1/2 years old, romy the black lab found himself alone and scared in a victorian pound. The caring people at the pound attempted to contact his family several times, but noone ever came to claim him. Romy's luck day was when two geelong animal rescue workers saw him and refused to leave without him. Romy is suffering from a few aged related ailments, including slight hearing loss, early stage cataracts, and difficulty walking. He still enjoys life, but he is unable to walk long distances, and often forgets that he actually has feet! he is a big boy and may need help in and out of cars/houses. Romy is living with a foster family that just adore him. He follows the humans around like they are his heroes, and loves the resident cat and two other dogs. He is patient and tolerant of the excitable puppy, and gives the head female dog the respect she deserves. He is house trained and just wants to be around you, although will quietly sleep in a warm and comfortable spot if you are away. Romy is looking for a caring place to spend the rest of his life, with a compassionate owner who just wants to give him the life that he deserves. If you wish to adopt romy, the standard adoption process applies:
