About Missy
Missy is an affectionate and curious greyhound girl who was surrendered by her owner after she finished racing. She is confident and obedient and gets along great with other dogs. In fact, her eyes light up when she sees another canine friend and we think she would prefer to live with another dog. However, she currently lives as an only dog in foster care and copes well too. As long as missy has regular opportunities to play with other dogs she will be fine living as an only dog. She is not cat friendly (yet) however, she has shown promising signs that she could live with a cat provided she has more training. Missy is loving her new life as a pet and has put her racing career behind her. She loves cuddles, sleeps a lot (preferably on your couch or bed) and walks well on a lead. She has a nice temperament and also does not mind kids as long as they don't pull her ears or tail. Missy is up for any adventure and really enjoys exploring the world and seeing new things. She makes an excellent pet and companion and will make her new family very happy. 2) Fill in our adoption inquiry form so we can learn more about you, your family and lifestyle.
3) We match a greyhound to your family and work situation based on the information given in our adoption inquiry
4) Kay's Greys conducts a house check and introduces you to the greyhound
5) If you like the greyhound, he/she goes on a 3- 4 week trial with you
6) After a successful trial period, the greyhound moves in permanently with your family. If it doesn't work out, we take the greyhound back and you can try a different one if you like
