Rusty *On Trial in His New Home*

*RUSTY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HIS NEW HOME* This loving little dog is Rusty and he’s looking for a caring forever home – will it be with you???

Before being rescued by his two “guardian angels” poor Rusty spent 3 long months chained under a farmhouse after being given away “free to a good home”. He was obviously fed during this time as apart from being filthy dirty he was in quite good health. He is now loving life in foster care with one of his angels where he’s receiving lots of cuddles and attention as well as brushing up on his training. Clever rusty knows “sit” and enjoys going for walks on a lead, he’s also having fun with the toys his carer has bought him and the bonus is he doesn’t destroy them! She has taught him how to play fetch and he’s even bringing the ball back. Rusty will jump onto your lap for cuddles when you’re sitting down so he’s more than happy to play the roll of lapdog! He’s also great with children although perhaps not toddlers as he does jump up a little especially when he first meets you as it’s a bit exciting for the friendly little man although his carer is teaching him the “down” command. Rusty is also good with other friendly dogs though we haven’t tried him with cats yet but this can be tested if required.

Rusty would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle either with his humans all to himself, so long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time while he settles in, or with a friendly doggie companion to hang out with. Secure fencing, chicken necks to munch on and toys to keep him stimulated will make Rusty very happy indeed!
