About Sheba
Sheba is a living breathing plush toy. Her bull arab coat is very silky, and now that she has her full weight she is very snuggly to hug. She really has her mastiff genes and when she is playing she sounds like a roaring motor.
She worships cats, and is terrified if they swat in her direction. She loves to snuggle her people on the couch and put her head in their lap for lots of pats and scruffs. She is very delicate when she joins us on the futon and carefully steps over other dogs and feet. I believe sheba could be ideal as an only dog or a member of a small pack if the pack order is very clear to her. She could be a great family dog if the children can respect the needs of a large bull arab. If she thinks she is in trouble she is more likely to slump to the ground and roll on her back than to skitter away. She learns most things with one try.
The closest i can come is to say she is tender, loving, warm (actually and metaphorically) and deeply devoted to all members of her pack, no matter their species. I expect her to have a long and happy lifetime with her forever family, where everybody knows and loves sheba and has wonderful tales to tell of the gifts Sheba brings to her family.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing maggiesrescueadoptions@gmail.com or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
