gidget is a 2 yo schnauzer/kelpie cross. She is lovely with my kids and has nice doggy manners too. She loves the car and is happy to ride inside with a harness. She is playful with the cat, and enjoys chasing cattle. She does not run away when off the leash. . . Gidget is a medium to high energy dog and enjoys a long run each day. She will fit in with an active family who include her in their activities, or have a decent sized yard/rural property for her to play in. She is not too bad on the leash and knows a couple of basic commands. Due to her high intelligence, she would excel at agility. Her coat is low to medium shedding, and is long and wiry. A daily brushing is sufficient to keep her looking nice, and she would benefit from an annual clipping in summer. . . Gidget is quite a happy, fun dog to have around. She is hardy enough to be outdoors alot but would enjoy coming inside and being part of the family when people are home. I'm not aware of any emotional baggage, and she is in good health. She loves a snuggle at the end of the day. And let's not forget, she is adorable!. . *** please see more photos of gidget at http://tinyurl.
