About Milkshake
Milkshake has completely recovered from his patella surgery and is now available for adoption and, according to the vet, will have no ongoing problems so can now do everything that any other dog can do. Milkshake is in foster care with a very playful and friendly Border Collie, an elderly Shih Tzu and two children aged 10 and 12 years. He has been thoroughly spoilt in his foster home being allowed to sleep with the children and his favourite spot is on their pillows right next to their heads since Poodles do not shed at all. Milkshake must have a friendly doggy companion in his new home as this is what he is used to and we want him to have continuity. Milkshake is a very happy, healthy and well balanced dog and like a young puppy when playing with toys, enjoying his runs at the local park and playtime with his humans. Milkshake is completely house trained, has a high maintenance coat that will require regular grooming and brushing and must always be allowed access to the house via a doggy door or similar. The ideal home for Milkshake will be with a family who may have experience with the Poodle breed or long coated dogs, have another friendly, playful dog and can offer him everything that he currently has in his foster home. Milkshake is indeed a very special boy, his zest for life is amazing and he has so much love to give but please do not apply to adopt Milkshake if there is not another dog living in your home.
