About Daisy (On Trial)
On trial in a new home 19/7/12. Please consider our other dogs and puppies at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly andy and wilson. . . Daisy is a 2 to 3 yo purebred shih tzu. She is a beautiful darling little girl who loves to be near you. She gets on well with other dogs, plays tug-o-war with my other foster dog. Daisy is very funny to watch as she amuses herself playing games with her soft toys. She makes me smile and laugh all the time. It's hard to be unhappy with such a sweet little darling around the house. She has a lot of cute and endearing ways. . . I don’t know how she is with cats because i don't have any. Daisy is not interested in my grandchildren aged 10 and 13 yrs. She's not really a dog for children as she prefers a more calm environment. Daisy is suited to a mature person who has time to brush and cuddle her and understanding her initial shyness. She didn’t have a good start in life but she is still very young and only a puppy at heart. . . Daisy can be a bit timid around strangers, but soon learns to like them. She is a most loyal and affectionate dog once she gets to know you. . . My other foster dog is also a shih tzu. She and daisy came from the same back yard breeder and they used to sleep together at my house until daisy thought it was better on my bed. But i am sure she will sleep in her own little bed as long as she is near you. . . I think she will be fine on a lead but not off it because she would take off to explore. Daisy is very much an indoor dog. She's fully housetrained and uses the doggy door to let herself outside when needed. She sleeps inside and likes to be in the house with me most of the time. . . Daisy loves to be brushed. She has a gorgeous soft coat which doesn't shed so she requires brushing (almost every day), bathing (about every 3 weeks) and professional clipping (about every 4 to 6 weeks). . . The shih tzu breed was developed solely as a companion dog. They live to love and be loved. More information about the breed: http://www. Pedigree. Com. Au/breeds/default. Asp?b=173&p=s&pp=
