About Keno (D2159)
Words from keno’s friend/neighbour:-
on opening the rear of the station wagon, keno waited patiently till i picked up his lead and asked him to come with me. His majestic form padded gently into the pet shop. Eyes were upon him, little dogs were yipping at their owners, unaware keno had entered. Keno walked up to the shop assistant and sat, as she got his harness on and adjusted it. He lay down as she made it just right for him. I scanned him and the room. People were talking quietly about him - his radiance and gentle way was seen by all. Keno and i have been friends for about 9 months, since we moved in next door. Over time we realised that it could be better for keno and his owners if we could find another home for him. It was becoming difficult for his owners to give him as much care as they would have liked, or that he deserved. For keno’s sake, they agreed to accept my support, knowing that safe would be able to assist in finding him a well suited and loving home. So here he is – this huge, gentle, cuddly, lovely, alaskan malamute waiting patiently for you to meet and snuggle him. He loves his hair being brushed, but finds the hydro-bath a bit scary. He allows you to do all the necessary checks and nail clipping maintenance, and you can see the gratitude in his eyes. He knows you are there to help him feel good. If you know malamutes, you know that they ‘talk’ rather than bark. Let him tell you his story. Because he is gentle, intelligent, and hasn’t experienced any trauma or abusive situations, he would respond well to dog training. Keno is 6, desexed, vaccinated & booked in to be microchipped. He has spent 24 hours with our 3 large dogs and didn’t mind being with them, or with our cat. He would definitely be the alpha male. Keno is located in bunbury but please contact safe karratha for all enquiries
