About Gus (adopted 11/2/13)
There is nothing little about Gus! He is a 4 month old Bull Arab puppy. He likes people but also likes some alone time. He likes to rough it up with the other dogs but also likes to sit under my chair for time out and a rest up. He likes his pats and tolerates hugging. Gus will come when called but not a fan of the lead as yet. Gus is a sweet natured guy who deserves a loving home.
Gus, and his sister Grace (also available) is in foster care in Scone, upper hunter nsw (2 hrs from newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate. For more information or to meet him please phone foster carer Stacey on 0438 68 3979.
Dog Rescue Newcastle www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our $400 adoption fee covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. Your support allows us to continue saving homeless dogs.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile. They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
