About Hopscotch -Vaccinated and Desexed
Hopscotch was found as a stray, and taken to the pound. He waited 3 long months watching people go by, but was not adopted. Sadly the time came where a hard decision had to be made, to leave him in a cage and without a family any longer would have been cruel. Hopscotch found himself on death row along with other bunnies, and due to the fact that he was a staff and volunteer favourite, we made the decision to save him. His fellow inmate, a lop eared brown bunny, was not so lucky. This is the sad reality we are faced with all the time. . . Who is to be fortunate enough to earn a place at out rescue shelter? it is up to the public to support rescues, stop buying from backyard breeders, and make a difference to bunnies like hopscotch. Will you be the person who stops for hopscotch, views his profile, and decides to give an unpopular white bunny a go? or like the vast population, turn a blind eye? the decision is yours to make. Hopscotch will now spend his days in a loving family home, where we will get to know his personality. He seems very happy to be here, and loved his pats upon arrival. If you would like to adopt or enquire about hopscotch, please fill in an adoption form on our website: www. Porschesrescue. Com
Medical notes
Vaccinated -please note that due to the release of calici virus, all bunnies adopted from us will be vaccinated. Desexing normally costs anywhere from $100-$360. Vaccinations are from $40-80 (costs differ between vet clinics). Therefore please don't try to haggle the price of the animal for adoption. If you can't afford the adoption fee, you certainly wont afford the ongoing costs associated with animals
