Petal is now allowed to go outside the bedroom and just loves it. \ Fantastic with all 4 family cats. She is extremely smoochy to the other cats and loves their company, doesn't mind having the 2 big dogs around. Very confident but still hisses at you when you get too close. Give her a little more time and she will settle in. She would make a great companion cat to a family with other cats and hopefully one day she will enjoy the comfort of a lap. Petal. . . . Petal was brought to me with her sister by a friend who works at the deli where they were found. The staff had been feeding them but the owner called the pound to come and get them. Petal is still very timid and won't allow anyone to touch her but is happy to sit near you. I've put my neutered tom Simon in with her to socialize her. She just adores Simon to bits and smooches him all over, it's so funny, like watching a teenage girl with her idol. Petal will need a family with a lot of patience, she is going to take a long time to trust people again. I work with her every day and have managed a quick stroke here and there while she is fixated on Simon. Petal is located in Cockatoo and can be view by arrangement.
