velvet was rescued from the pound. She is a gorgeous rex rabbit, with all the intelligence expected from the breed. This girl arrived very chubby, and has been on a diet and exercise schedule to make her look as amazing as she does. A home dedicated to feeding bunnies a correct diet is a must, to prevent her from become obese and at risk to heart disease. Velvet has all the great traits of the rex, while also being affectionate, cuddly, easy to pick up and put down, soft and litter trained. What more could anyone expect from a pet?! she is playful and active, but what she loves the best is food. She could easily learn tricks as she's so food motivated. She's a really loving pet, licking our hands and arms to show how close she feels to humans. This girl needs a special home, with people who will appreciate what a rare beauty velvet is, both inside and out. We're looking for an indoor home for velvet, where she can be around her humans and have a comfortable life. She's not a suitable rabbit to be caged or left in a hutch, she'd like the freedom of a free range lifestyle, where she can properly interact with her family, and not behind bars.
