About Leo
Leo is an older gentleman and a quiet boy who really enjoys being with you for all the cuddles he can get. Leo has been diagnosed with a severe heart murmur which means that we don't know how long leo has left. It could be a week, a month, a year, 3 years. . . . . . No one knows. Currently leo is not displaying any symptoms (i. E. Tiredness, fainting or coughing) and he may stay this way for some time. Once symptoms start leo may need medication (approx $50 a month according to the vet) to help keep him comfortable. Because of this we are looking for a special home that can offer leo a quality of life for the time he does have left. Leo needs to be able to be inside boy and he just loves curling up in his bed for a snooze. Leo's other passion is for food, although he's not a fussy eater, and all food in general takes his fancy! leo is not up for strenuous exercise (no long walks etc), and would be happy to have a garden should he decide something faster than a walking pace was in order. Leo is suitable for a home with children over 12 years (but is not fond of small children) and is also fine with other dogs. We would however prefer him to be the only dog in the home (or with only one other dog) as we'd like to see him the centre of someone's universe. Leo comes desexed, microchipped and vaccinated for the special adoption fee of $100. If you would like more information on leo or to arrange to meet him, please phone denise on 0405 244871 (between 8am and 7pm only) or email her using adoption enquiry as your subject heading. Before phoning or emailing, please check denise's rescued dogs in foster care on www. Paws. Com. Au for any updated photos and stories and to make sure this dog is still available for adoption.
