About Bundy
* you won't find me at the shelter i'm in foster care. If you would like to meet me please email adoptfromfoster@rspcaqld. Org. Au
******************************************************************************
im bundy a 2 year old australian cattle dog. I've lived with my foster family since december 2010 when i came to the rspca as a 4 months old along with many other cattle dogs. I was unsocialised and found it very difficult to walk on a lead. Over time i've grown to become a real delightful gentle and loyal companion (just ask my foster mum).
i'm a super fast runner who can twist and turn quickly and i love nothing better than having a wild game of chasey with another dog. I love running in the water at a leash-free beach and if i go to a home without a large block regular visits to a leash-free dog park should satisfy my energy needs. Although i get anxious at the dog park at first i never have any problems interacting and on occasions i find a new friend to run and play with. . . Bbf's.
i'm affectionate and very gentle with humans i know i'm still a little timid with strangers. I can now walk well on a loose lead on my familiar routes unknown areas or sudden loud noises tend to make me anxious and i will pull on the lead. . . I promise i'm getting better though. My foster mum says i'm constantly improving.
i'm intelligent i learn quickly and i'm curious. My foster home has free range hens but i'm never aggressive toward them i just like to round them up. . . Chicken muster!! people tell me i have good manners and even though i love my food i'm not at all greedy.
other than the water my favourite pastime is playing with soft or squeaky toys and i'll play a mean game of tug with you. I'm not big on retrieving balls thats what a human is for!
even though i have access to all the rooms of my foster house i respect their belongings and i'm not at all destructive.
if i get over-excited i have a tendency to nip (i'm a working breed its in my nature). For this reason i may not suit a home with a smaller dog or young children.
i can become easily attached to other dogs and sometimes find them easier to deal with than humans but i'll never be far away from you and i love to be cuddled talked to and praised. If you're looking for a loyal k9 companion and are prepared to be patient then i could be the perfect dog for you.
fee $175 (includes an in-home session with an animal training centre trainer)
