hi my name is alf and according to my microchip i'm 4 years old and was born oct 08. However, the vet said i could be up to 6 years old. I'm a blue brindle as you can see, sorry about the photo's not being very good but we will try and get better ones soon. I'm in need of urgent help as i need both my cruciates fixed which stafford rescue will pay for but we need someone to look after me or adopt me while i go through my re-habilitation period. This involves being kept in a crate and helped out for toileting for a little while until i can walk on my own again, which doesn't take very long. I still need to take it easy for 6 weeks & towards the end of that time my walks can be increased a few minutes each day until i'm back to normal. I am a very excitable boy as i've been in a pound for 3 weeks with no walks. If you google "cruciate ligament dog" you will see what the operation is all about. If we don't get an offer of help by early next week i'm in big trouble that's why this request is very urgent.
