About Tyler (On Trial)
Tyler is a collie x australian cattle dog puppy, 5 months old. He loves all the typical puppy antics! he is already good at chasing a ball and bringing it back. He is cuddly and affectionate one minute then running around wrestling with the other dogs the next, then is ready for a nice nap. . . Tyler has been well socialised with other dogs including another litter of puppies i had and my own larger dog. He loves all sorts of toys including soft toys and ropes for tug-of-war. He wears a collar and i'm getting him used to the lead. He is housetrained. If the door is open he will go outside to do his business, but if he can't get outside he will use newspaper. A doggy door would be ideal for him. He doesn't bark much, not even when the other dogs are barking. He is learning to sit and wait for his dinner. . . Tyler has been sleeping indoors and will need to continue to do so for at least several months longer. He will need plenty of interaction, training and play time with his human family for the rest of his life, and ideally he should be allowed inside for some time every day when people are home. . . Tyler would be fine with children, though of course he will jump all over them because he is too young to have been trained not to yet. We always recommend puppy pre-school. . . Tyler doesn't fret when i leave the house as he has the other dogs for company and they are all quite content together. Tyler loves other dogs and would be happy to go to a home where there is another friendly dog for company. He hasn't met any cats yet but is young enough to learn to accept them as just another member of the family. . . Tyler's $450 adoption fee also includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping and lifetime registration. He was born on 30/3/12. We can't be positive of his breed but the collie and red cattle dog are pretty obvious. There might be a little staffy in the mix too. We expect him to grow up to be a medium sized dog. . .
