About Sid *On Trial in His New Home*
*sid is currently trialling his new home* this little bundle of joy is sid and he’s a 14 month old moodle so he’s a friendly little dog with lots of energy who’s looking for a new forever home – will it be with you???
recently surrendered to sarg as the older alpha male he was living with kept belting him up, sid has settled in well into foster care where he’s having a ball with his carers’ small female dogs; he even shares his beloved toys with them. Sid’s not fazed by the household cats which is a bonus and he’s good with kids though not too young as he can get quite bouncy and licky when excited. Silly sid gets along well with other friendly dog’s although you wouldn’t know it as he has a funny way of growling and barking at them when they first meet before launching into play mode and becoming their best friend! his carer is working on this by helping to rebuild sid’s confidence which he most probably lost when he was being picked on in his previous home. Sid’s carer is teaching him to “sit” and he likes going for walks on the lead and he’s not too bad, just needs a bit more practice. Being a poodle x maltese sid doesn’t shed any hair and he doesn’t mind a bath and a blow-dry in the cooler months. He will require regular brushing and a clip when needed to keep him looking his best. Sid has the poodles’ longer legs and personality - he loves lots of attention. snuggly sid adores being with his humans (he’d be happy being a lapdog) and can suffer a bit of separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time as he never has been so he’ll need a home with either a playful doggie companion or someone who’ll be home fairly often or can take him with them – at 4. 0kgs he’s a nice “take-anywhere” size. Plus a secure yard, obedience training, daily walks or runs around the backyard, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play will make sid very happy indeed! sid is housetrained and sleeps inside so we would want to see this continued in his forever home.
