About Urgent Foster Care -
Bella is very intelligent, playful totally adorable. She has a special x-factor about her - perhaps the soup of an angel. Bella was rescued from the pound last monday and on tuesday had a terrible accident in her foster home. She was obviously missing her new carers after being in the pound for weeks and tried to jump a picket fence. She caught both front legs between the pickets and was ''hanging'' there all day. Back paws suspended in mid air. Terrified. The carers came home and found her, barely conscious. They rushed her to the hospital where she is now - making a remarkable recovery. I visited her today (wednesday 6th) with some treats and a hot water bottle. She is such a sweet dog. Extremely affectionate and obviously loyal. She is expected to make a recovery but needs a foster home with someone who can care for her while she gets better. The ranger who cared for her before release also remarked on her warm personality and placid temperament. I have met her and she is absolutely adorable. So sweet - so loving. She is a small/medium sized doggy. Very underweight so will need several smalls meals a day to build her up. This dear little soul is a wonderful princess and i didn't want to leave her today but as she was still on a drip i knew she was in the best hands. I am only asking for care short term if that is all you can offer. Please contact alyson asap - leave a message if i don't answer 6101 1293

Adoption details
We strongly recommend you read the dogs' profile carefully as everything we know about the dog/s is listed.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/adoption---expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
