Sol is trying a new home!!

sol is in need of a loving and stable home where she can get lots of exercise and heaps of cuddles. Sol was rescued from being surrendered to the pound due to a marital breakdown in april this year. She was also separated from her brother back in november 2011 and was so distressed she did not eat for two weeks. Sol has an adorable nature and is friendly and extremely affectionate. She is very intelligent and already well trained but, being an active dog she requires regular exercise. Sol is very good on the lead and when off lead responds immediately when called, even from hundreds of metres away. She usually keeps a close eye on her master anyway! sol is not a fussy eater and is very gentle when being hand fed. She would be best suited to a home with another dog, or with someone who is either home most of the time or willing to take her with them. Sol gets on very well with other dogs and especially loves playing with her doggy stepsister, elle. She is good with children, although tends to walk away when younger children approach her, so a home with older children would be preferable. Sol is also very wary of feet and tends to run away with her tail between her legs when a foot is moved near her but she is slowly building trust and occasionally enjoys a rub with a foot. Sol requires a family that has experience with active dog breeds and would be extremely happy and loyal in a home where she is really part of the family and family life.
