Jock

Jock is a lively and handsome 4 yo purebred border collie. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. He is very well-mannered, obedient and very eager to please. He comes when he is called and sits and lays on command. He does jump up but is learning not to (so would not be suitable for young children). He likes to be wherever you are and is happiest by your side, soaking up all of the attention that he can get. . . Jock is not a fence jumper nor is he a barker but he does like to round-up butterflies and bees. He is a very loyal and loving dog who enjoys being the centre of attention and having human contact. Ideally jock would be happiest being the only male dog as he is dominant around other dogs. He would be ok with a submissive female dog as in his previous home he had a female dog companion. Not sure what he thinks of cats. . . Jock enjoys going for a walk and a run. He could run all day and will need to be exercised every day to keep him happy but he is also happy to sit quietly and wait for you. He enjoys car rides and behaves himself when travelling. He adjusted to being in foster care in a flash and would adapt quickly to a forever home. . . His lovely eyes get lots of attention wherever we go. It is a normal variation in some breeds and doesn't affect his vision at all, just makes him more striking. . .
