About Poppet - On Trial in Her New Home!
*update 6/6/12*
as the number of foster kitties are decreasing in my house - poppet is really coming out of her shell! she has started plonking herself on the couch next to me for a snooze and purrs and smooches in delight when she hops on my lap for a pat. She is much more confident in the way that she plays and she even follows me around the house instead of running away!
poppet is a shy, but curious little darling who was born to a stray mother in a suburban backyard. Her and her sister, possum were 8 weeks old when they first arrived in care and had never been handled by humans before. They were extremely cautious and timid but after lots of tlc and patience, both girls have since come out of their (tortoise) shells!
poppet enjoys cuddles - under her terms only and i have caught her sneaking up to me in bed for evening and morning snuggles! she is a playful little girl and can keep herself entertained with a few toys. Poppet still needs to work on her confidence levels but what better way to do so than to be in her forever home!
poppet adores other cats and would make the perfect addition to an existing cat household. She would be best suited to a relatively quiet household so she can continue to shine and grow into a confident little lady. Due to her little pink nose, poppet would prefer to go to an indoor only home or indoor, with some time in an outdoor shaded enclosure. Photos by jasper pet photography - http://www. Facebook.
