About Skillet
When skillet came to me, he was so scared of everything and everyone. For the first six or seven weeks all i saw was a black and white flash across the room as he scampered from the food bowl to his hiding spot. He befriended my cat very quickly but was petrified of my dog and me. On a rare occasion i could catch him for a pat but after about 8 or so weeks he started to let me pick him up for a short cuddle - then he would start sleeping on the end of the bed. When i picked him up he flattened his ears and his heart would pound like nothing i have felt before as though he was going to get a belting. He had no trust in humans. Over the months he has begun to trust and today he is the most amazing cheeky, at times naughty, mischievous little ratbag you could imagine. He has befriended the dog, he pretends he is fishing every night when he chases the fish around the aquarium (they don't seem to mind too much). I would sum this little guy up as a beautiful little fellow who would need time to adjust to a new family and when he does - he would be a friend for life. He is an exceptional little guy who i believe has been severely traumatised at the hands of horrible people. Without safe his little life was not worth living - now. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Well you be the judge. Come and meet him. He just wants to be around me all the time (as he will with his new parents). He is one of the most amazing cats i have ever had the pleasure of knowing - that may sound corny - but they all have a heartbeat and feelings and they all deserve a chance. And wow he has won my heart. If you are interested meeting skillet please call lynda on 0408 474 542
