Patch *Adoption Pending*

Patch is enjoying life at the moment, he loves playing with other dogs, is getting more confident with people, though he's still very scared of strangers carrying anything in their hands. He loves walks, sleeping and chewing on rawhides. . . If he doesn't have a rawhide he's more than happy to entertain himself by chewing up tissues or cardboard instead. He's becoming desensitized to the vacuum cleaner too. If the lack of rawhide situation gets really desperate he might start hiding shoes and socks - just as a reminder that i need to buy more rawhide. He knows how to sit, and he never likes to go far away, his people are his world so he comes when he's called. Unfortunately for a while there that meant every time i left him in the backyard alone, i had to come when i was called. . . By various neighbours etc etc that he discovered while on his search for me. Now that he knows the routine though (and i've got his gate squeezing abilities better sussed) he hasn't had any roaming issues for a while. . . But i'd still suggest any prospective adopters have a very good fence (i thought i did!) or never intend to leave him on his own. He'd love to live with another doggy companion
