Rex

Rex has come into care due to his owners working away and no one being home to take care of him. He is very short in height with a long body. He has a solid, sturdy bone structure. If you are looking for a small dog but dont want something too delicate,rex is your man. He has a soft and fluffy, low shedding coat that doesnt drop hair onto your cloths or the furniture. He would be suitable for people with allergies. Rex is a happy, well adjusted dog that is a pleasure to have around as he is sensible, relaxed and great company. His previous owners had children,and said he is wonderful with them and would play for hours with them in the back yard. Rex was kept as an outside only dog in his previous life. Since coming into care he has adjusted magnificantly to living inside and is toilet trained. It took him about two days to work out he was welcome up onto the lounge and now invites himself up for a cuddle. He is quite good at smooching and likes to nestle his head into your neck. Rex is well behaved inside and does not bark excessively,chew the furniture or dig. He travels well in the car and is good to groom and bath. He is an active boy who loves his walkies. Rex would make a great second dog as he loves to play with his doggy friends. Rex is looking for the following in his new home:
a daily walk of at least 30 minutes
to live inside and be treated as one of the family
plenty of love,cuddles and fun
