About Lemonade
Lemonade and three other guinea pigs were apparently dumped on someone, who then took them to the pound. The pound were kind enough to contact us so we could rescue them, as they otherwise would not have survived for much longer. All boys are extremely thin and mite infested. They've had a dose of revolution, and are on a course of baycox to rule out coccidiosis being the cause of their malnutrition. However it is most likely a simple case of them being starved, or given a completely inappropriate diet. Lemonade was the least affected of the boys that arrived 5 weeks ago, and is now looking for his new home with his buddy, max. Lemonade, like the other boys that arrived with him, lacked front teeth when he arrived. They'd either been bashed out purposefully, or crumbled/snapped as a result of bad food. They have now regrown and are nice and strong, so he is able to munch away on all his favourite vegies. Where his fur was sparse and his skin flakey from mites, he now has a glossy coat and healthy skin. He is very friendly and eagerly awaits as you approach his enclosure.
