He is a very cheerful and loving dog who needs a home where someone is home most of the time. He loves walks and getting out to see people and other dogs. . . He is house trained, sleeps indoors, but doesn't mind some time outside during the day, but needs good high fences. He likes having access to a doggy door so he can come in and out as he likes. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay and come. . . Sandy's non-shedding coat requires regular brushing, bathing, and every 4 to 8 weeks will need professional clipping. . . Sandy frets when home alone and this is why he has ended up with dog rescue. If left alone in a yard he will try hard to get out and is a good jumper. So sandy needs someone at home with him most of the time or to go with you. He would also enjoy another dog for company.
