On Trial~ Sam ~

Sam is a cuddly teddy bear that adores people. He is good with children, my daughters play with him, lead him around and give him cuddles. I would recommend him for a family with children aged 10 years and up. Its just that he is an enthusiastic teenager and he would easily knock over younger children. Sam is a heavier framed dog with a sturdy frame, weighs about 15 kgs but is still only about 40cms tall. Sam is long bodied like a bassett hound, short legged and stocky. He does look unusual with his longer body shape, but he has the sweetest face. . . He really deserves to find a loving home. Sam is currently sharing a yard with three other dogs. He gets along particularly well with our 18 week old foster pup they play together all the time. Sam is food possessive and will growl at other dogs when he is eating, we are trying to work on this with sam. He mistrusts cats but is not aggressive towards them. He will need grooming on a regular basis and a brush down every week. He has been groomed and now has a short all over coat which will grow longer as we get into winter
