About Lucky *Adoption Pending* (Hd122)
Lucky is a very special dog. Earlier this year he was run over by a car. Luckily for lucky the accident took place outside the local vet, the south hedland veterinary hospital. Even luckier for lucky the first thing he did was run straight to the vet hospital for help. His back right leg had to be amputated and his front left leg was broken and in a cast for months. He has had lots of tlc and time to recuperate and heal and now he is cast free and ready for his new home. Lucky's personality is becoming larger than life with each week of healing. He has lots of life in him with lots of love to give. He loves companionship, is very happy and has a very expressive face - you can read exactly how he's feeling. He's happy to sit with you, be your shadow and will constantly check up on you. He truly loves his foster carer's kids. You can see the joy on his face and in his body language when he sees them. Lucky is a fast learner, and you can tell he is just dying to go for some walks - which will have to be slowly built up as his strength in his remaining three legs improves. He's been fostered on his own for the past couple of months while he has been recovering from his accident so he is not used to being around other dogs. We are going to be working on that, arranging play dates with other dogs so he is again used to being around some canine friends. Please contact us if you have a special place for lucky in your family
