Rex Need Foster for This Beautiful Boy

Rex is currently in kennels and is not coping well and needs urgent foster care. He is a very affectionate staffy cross who just loves people & craves your love & attention. Rex will always greet people with great enthusiasm, especially males. Rex has proven to be a bit protective of his property and he will bark if a stranger is near whom he has not been introduced to - but he’s really just a big sook. He currently goes running on a regular basis and he enjoys his daily walks too. Walking on a lead is new to rex - he must be walked with a halti lead and another lead on his collar as he is a bit boisterous when he first sets off - 2 leads will give you more control. He is still young and very playful with energy to burn so needs regular exercise from an active owner to keep him happy and content. He loves sleeping inside and being with you. As he is strong he would do well with an experienced dog owner but is learning very fast so has a lot of potential to be a fantastic pet. He has so far proved to be good with other dogs but is not okay with cats. He is being taught not to jump up on people and he is slowly learning this, but based on this he may not be okay with very young children until he fully learns his manners and settles down a bit. The more time and love given to rex, the happier and calmer he is – he’s a very cute and happy dog extremely affectionate
