We get a lot of sad stories at the shelter - marriage breakups, moving house and all sorts of reasons for surrenders. If you need to surrender a dog there's a correct way to go about it and a cowardly way to do it. Dumping puppies in the road outside the shelter is not considered a good way. Shiraz and ruby were both dumped out the front and it took the shelter manager 3 days to catch them as they were so terrified.
