Dixie is a happy-go-lucky girl with a very soft gentle nature and warm personality. She an absolutely fantastic dog, who just happens to be deaf. Don’t let her deafness stop you considering this girl, as she will make a terrific family pet or companion. She is a smart and attentive dog, and will pick up sign language commands with just a little training. She already walks well on lead. Dixie is a very social girl, with both people and other dogs. Dixie is in foster care with 7 other dogs and loves all of them. She will make friends with any dog no matter their size. She does not jump or demand attention. She loves to sit next to you and get a pat; she will soon fall asleep sitting up. When the sun goes down so does dixie, she puts herself in her bed and she is done for the day. Our adoption fee ($200) covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. . . .
