October - On Trial in Her New Home!

how is it possible that october is still waiting for her forever home? this amazing, beautiful girl has been through so much and done so much to help other kittehs. She is so ready to start her forever life of luxury, lounging around all day being adored, swatting at the odd toy mouse and generally living the life she should always have had. Black cat are amazing and here are 13 reasons why -

1. You can’t tell if they’re dirty, and their teeth always look white!
2. A black cat is a great accessory to any outfit, and they go with everything. 3. Black is very slimming—holding your cat will make you look extra-slender. 4. Save time on date night—you don’t need to use the lint brush on your black dress. 5. Your cat doesn’t care what color your hair is!
6. Black cats are the most fun to play hide and seek with. 7. They have a “black belt” in cuddling. 8. You’ll never need to go shopping for halloween decorations. 9. In most cultures, a black cat in your home brings good luck!

october has now finished her mothering duties and gained some much needed condition. She's really enjoying cuddles and just lounging around without having to worry about her babies. All tobes needs now is a home of her own!

october is the most incredibly selfless cat i've ever met. She was found as a stray with 2 kittens and pregnant again, and after a few weeks in care, she gave birth to 4 kittens, but sadly, 2 didn't survive. Since having her kittens tobes has adopted and cared for 6 other kittens as well as raising her own 2 babies. I've never known a cat to so willingly take on any kitten in need!

october has even joined forces with our other mumma cat luna (http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/151227) and the 2 girls having been raising their babies together!

all the mothering has taken a bit of a toll on tobes though, and she's very much looking forward to sending her babies off to their new homes and finding a home of her own where she can be the one that is taken care of for a change!

october is a lovely, affectionate, relaxed cat who will make the most lovely addition to an adult home or a home with older children as she's past the super playful stage in life and is happier lounging around and lapping up attention!

tobes is just about done raising her babies and will be ready for her new home in early may but is available for pre-adoption now
