Barry Aka the Teddy Bear

Hi everyone, my name's barry!

my foster family calls me big bad barry and giggles and then they say "yeah big bad barry the teddy bear! " i just smile at their funny talk and lay my big head on any available lap and sigh with content. I was found as a stray and taken to the local pound and no one came to get me. Lucky for me the pound called brv and i was driven to melbourne to start my new life. I am a pretty serious lad when you first meet me but as soon as i realise that you will pat me, give me attention, food and love i literally melt with happiness. I would love a family who have a beagle sister for me to play with and a family who will pat and cuddle me like my foster family does. I'm a big strong boy and weigh in at 22 kilos but my foster mum says that's just fine as there is more of me to cuddle, yet she still has me on a diet!

i take food very gently and i listen to my foster parents when they call me. Since i arrived into foster care i've learnt a lot about the world and every day i continue learning. My foster family talks a lot about how amazing it has been watching me learn how to play and interact with them and again they call me a teddy bear and laugh!
